Dos Palmas Island Resort and Spa takes the environment seriously. In our continuing quest to offer our guests a great island experience, we also fully commit ourselves to live harmoniously with our ecosystem. With this strong commitment comes our resolve to constantly find ecologically safe solutions that may one day set environmental standards for the industry.
Our ongoing green initiatives include an ecologically responsible waste management program and sewage treatment facility, a water-conservation and desalination program, and a toxic-material reduction plan that includes de-chlorination of water supply and the use of biodegradable, plant-based detergents and cleaning agents. Eco Zone. The eastern part of the island has been designated as the Dos Palmas Eco Zone (DPEZ), where all environmental programs and facilities of the resort are situated.
The resort has a comprehensive waste management facility. We’ve set up our own sewage treatment plant, to ensure that resort operations won’t hurt the environment. Treated water is used for watering the grounds and in our toilets; while the sludge from the treatment plant is used as fertilizer for our organic vegetable and herb gardens, and our plant nurseries and greenhouse. We embarked on a multi-million-peso rehabilitation of our existing water system. To ensure a steady supply of freshwater, rain collection ponds and a desalination plant are underway to reinforce the resort’s freshwater requirements.
These are just some of our initiatives to help promote ecological awareness and pave the way for the peaceful co-existence of man and nature in this last frontier. A part of your package fees is always channeled back to the environment, so you, as our honored guests, can enjoy your stay in good conscience.

Infants and chicken 5 years and below are free-of-charge. For one ault charing a room with a child or children, the single occupancy rate will apply to the adult. For toe or more children sharing a room, the single occupancy adult rate will be applied to one child. All rates are qouted on a per person per night basis. They are inclusive of the applicable government tax and service charge. The package does not include airfare, beverages, food outside of the package, laundry, mini-bar consumption, telephone calls, marine sports activities and equipment rentals, souvenir shop purchases and other expenses that are incidental in nature. Cancellation Policy: A 50% refund will be given to cancellations made 7 working days prior to departure or 15 working days prior to departure for peak periods. No refund will be given for last minute cancellations (less than 7 working days or less than 15 working days for peak periods). If the guest shortens his / her stay or is a no show, no refund will be given. Special consideration may be given in cases such as bad weather from piont of origin, flight cancellations, illness,hospitalization,or any other unforeseen situations. These will be subject to the approval of the President, or in his absence, the Director of Sales and Marketing.
